DELTA SIGMA PI

Hello! Welcome to Delta Sigma Pi at Kent State University!  My name is Owen Roberts, and I am the President of the Beta Pi Chapter for the Fall 2025 semester.

As we approach this new chapter in our fraternity's history I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as the next President of the Beta Pi chapter and carry on the legacy of those before me. From day one to finals week I will work tirelessly to set the pillars and promises I made when running for this position in the fall into place. Those being continuous improvement, top of the line professional development, alumni involvement, and to expand on the culture that makes us Kent State’s premiere business organization and I have the backing of a talented and senior executive board.

The moment I stepped on campus I knew I had to get involved in the organization that was right for me so that I could grow socially, academically, and professionally which led to me looking into many clubs and fraternities. But from the moment someone I’ve never met yelled at me “Hey are you a business student?” I found the perfect match, and that was Delta Sigma Pi. Not only was the environment and the culture so strong and empowering but the pillars of the organization aligned with my goals perfectly which I saw immediately at my first pledge meeting with all of the other incredible and like minded future brothers. This only made me want to give back, which is why I leaped at an executive board opportunity the minute it came available. I spent my time serving as VP of Internal Affairs and Senior Vice President which I am confident that they not only prepared me for my role as President, but in my professional career as well. I can confidently say that the relationships you will create here at Beta Pi will be nothing like what you have experienced before. This is because your brothers are more than great friends, we push each other to grow, experience new opportunities, become more professional, and contribute to society and those around them. Joining Delta SIgma Pi was, (and will be your) best decision you have made in your time at Kent State or any collegiate chapter around the world. And in the words of our former president, you are not just joining a business organization, you are joining a true brotherhood.

As I take a moment to reminisce and acknowledge what we have achieved in my time at Beta Pi, I can personally vouch for and am proud to be at the forefront of the environment that Delta Sigma Pi fosters. Across all facets we truly prepare our brothers for every aspect of the professional world and their future careers while creating friendships that will last a lifetime. From an after class brotherhood event on a Tuesday night or our week long international Grand Chapter Congress, every aspect is special and every memory is unforgettable. This is what is waiting for you when you join that one incredible organization that dresses professionally on Wednesday nights. And every brother exemplifies these traits and brings their own special experiences to add to this strong Delta Sigma Pi culture.

Now it is time to make this semester special. The incredible things that Delta Sigma Pi’s Beta Pi chapter is waiting for you to add to America’s Foremost Professional Business Fraternity for Men and Women so that YOU can grow with all of us.
